Tim O’Neill, President of the Acts 2 Alliance. Tim is also the Pastor of Tailrace community church in Tasmania. Tim has a successful business background, & has also served in government and private enterprises, including not-for-profit organisations, helping them develop successful strategies and vision for growth. In 1995 the suicides of eight people within their community, led Tim and his wife, Sharon, to setting up a community church and the Tailrace Centre, a landmark entertainment and business centre on the banks of the Tamar River in Launceston. These facilities are positively impacting the local community and working in unison to help people find purpose and true fulfilment in their work and life. Tim has previously been on the board of Willow Creek Australia and is also on the Advisory Board of Empart Australia. Empart is a dynamic organisation which is transforming communities in North India and Nepal by setting up communities, children’s homes, schools and tailoring centres for single women.
