This Sunday Ps Matt Brought a message called, “The Victorious Church!” C.T. Studd, a British Cricketer who became a missionary to China, India, and Africa in the early 1900’s, said, “Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell. If Jesus Christ is God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him. When his critics told him to go home, that he had done enough, he replied, “God has called me to go, and I will go. I will blaze the trail though my grave may only become a stepping stone that younger men may follow.” What an inspiration! We need to keep our focus on Jesus & the mission he’s called us to, no matter what circumstances are around us. Jesus is the head of the Church, in Matthew 16:18 he said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell[b]shall not prevail against it.”
He promised he will build His church, we must learn to walk in His Victory in every part of our lives!
