Ps Matt Continued our series called “Love the City.” We will be learning some lessons from the book of Jonah. Tim Keller writes, “God’s question in Jonah 4:11 includes, “And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people …?” God’s challenge is, of course, a rebuke to Jonah, but it is also a promise and a word of hope. He says, “Should I not have concern for the great city?” God says that he loves the city, he is concerned for it, and he calls Jonah to join him.”
