Ps Matt Prater

This Week we will be continuing our in our Proverbs series, with some practical advice from God’s Word that we can apply to our lives. Proverbs 26:21 says, “As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome person for kindling strife.” There are some powerful warnings in this chapter about not gossiping, not being quarrelsome, and about guarding our words. James 1:19 says, “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” In this day and age where so many people are expert critics on everything, and opinions are so easily shared, we must remember to guard our mouths, physically, and guard what we say online as well!
