we continued our series on “The Spirit Filled Life,” & we’ll be looking at Spiritual Gifts. The Bible says, “Eagerly desire spiritual gifts,” & “Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.”
Author Lisa Bedrick says, “Some people are only “believers” because they want God to give them things; a thrill, money, spiritual gifts etc. but they never think twice about what THEY can give to God. They are Christian parasites, always wanting more, rather than Christian servants, who are always willing to give.”
